Recently, when many truck drivers transport goods to Guangdong, they will receive publicity leaflets about Guangdong's regulation that prohibits trucks over 55 tons from entering expressways. The main content of the regulation is that Guangdong expressways prohibit trucks over 55 tons from driving on expressways, and violators will be fined up to 30,000 yuan. What is more serious is that if a truck exceeds the weight limit three times a year, its operation permit and practitioner qualification certificate will be revoked. Please all vehicle owners/drivers abide by this regulation when driving on Guangdong expressways.
The specific identification standards are as follows:
1. The total weight of the two-axle truck and its cargo exceeds 20 tons (inclusive of 20 tons);
2. The total weight of the three-axle truck and its cargo exceeds 30 tons (inclusive of 30 tons);
3. The total weight of the four-axle truck and its cargo exceeds 40 tons (inclusive of 40 tons);
4. The total weight of the five-axle truck and its cargo exceeds 50 tons (inclusive of 50 tons);
5. The total weight of the six-axle or more-than-six-axle truck and its cargo exceeds 55 tons (inclusive of 55 tons);
If the total weight of the truck and its cargo exceeds the above regulations, the fine for over-limit transportation on the highway can be as high as 30,000 yuan. What is more serious is that if over-limit occurs three times within a year, the operation permit and the practitioner qualification certificate will be revoked.
In addition, for truck drivers who often run routes in Guangdong area, please note that the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau has decided to formally implement the "external vehicle restriction" control measure, that is, the traffic control measure that restricts trucks from passing through the central urban area will be officially implemented from zero o'clock on October 1, 2015.
